The adolescent years can be the most challenging times in a young person’s life. Teenagers today face all kinds of struggles, including low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. To help teen girls thrive during this time of their lives, Rejoice Counseling Apostolate regularly offers group to provide a safe environment for girls to grow in self-knowledge, foster their strengths, learn about healthy relationships, embrace a life of joy, and see themselves as made in the image and likeness of God—for they are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).
The next teenage girls support group will meet on Mondays from 6:30-8:30pm on October 21, 28 & November 4, 11, 18. Participation is free for parishioners of Christ the Redeemer and open to girls aged 13-18 yrs. It will be led by one of our Parish Counselor Student Interns, Lauren Guido. To register or ask questions, parents can contact Lauren at lauren@rejoicecounseling.com.
