EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. When a disturbing event occurs, it may overwhelm the brain and cause it to disrupt normal coping mechanisms. EMDR helps re-train the brain from a disturbed event or belief so that a person can achieve new levels of coping and healing. We offer EMDR with trained counselors at a limited number of locations.
