Come join Jacob Ulczynski, MS, NCC, LPC Intern, for a special presentation on intellectual and developmental disabilities, scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2014, from 7-8pm at St. Mary Magdalen Church in San Antonio, Texas (1710 Clower Street, Church Hall B).

Topics to be addressed include caring for the whole person, supporting the family unit, the availability of public services, and inclusive practices of the Catholic Church. Who should attend? Parents, family members, and friends of persons with a disability, as well as teachers, pastoral ministers, volunteers, clergy, and anyone who wishes to learn more about this important topic. FREE and open to the public.

Presenter details: Jacob Ulczynski, MS, NCC, LPC Intern, provides counseling onsite at St. Mary Magdalen and St. Francis of Assisi as a counselor with Rejoice Counseling Apostolate. With eight years of experience in Behavioral Health and Intellectual and Development Disabilities, he brings a wide range of knowledge and experience in mental health to the counseling relationship. Jacob also serves as Enrollment and Eligibility Manager for the Alamo Local Authority for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at the Alamo Area Council of Governments where he is responsible for the “front door” and access to public services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
